OJR article: For Snopes.com, Debunking the Bambi Hoax Was All in a Day's Work

I've often refered people to the Snopes.com web site. I'll get an email with a strange story, or a virus claim, and the first place I go is Snopes.com. More often than not, I'll find it there... as a hoax.

It's run by a husband and wife team (they have cats and rats as pets... how cool!) who just take the extra steps that even reporters don't do these days.

The article is interesting, and it will make you a bit more careful about what you believe on the net.
